and from the eastern shore. 295 checking out ok down towards 32. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> the baltimore county firefighter is behind bars charged with sex and assaulting two teenage boys. >> kim dacey is live at police headquarters with more. good morning. >> good morning. police say these alleged sexual assaults happened between may and june of this year in the wilkens precinct. police say a 14-year-old boy came forward to them just last week and said he was sexually assaulted by 23-year-old anthony cottle. cottle was staying with the boy's family. the alleged incident happened in the family home. the teen also told police he witnessed a friend being assaulted by cottle. cottle is a volunteer firefighter with the lansdowne department and has been a probationary firefighter with the county department since december of last year.

since he was charged, cottle has been suspended without pay. police say there could be other victims out there. >> based on what we're hearing from the victim and other people that are being interviewed by our detectives, we believe that there may be more victims. >> they are asking any other potential victims to come forward. meanwhile, cottle remains at the baltimore county detention center on $150,000 bail. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. police want to know whether two reported abductions are linked. the most recent happened on monday as the victim would do for a bus. a pair of armed black males jove up to the victim and pulled her aside. was taken to the hospital for

treatment. there was another abduction last tuesday. a lone gunman forced a woman into a vehicle. her money and camera was stolen. the possible adoption of a woman near druid hill park. this happened on monday night. no word if she was robbed. >> charges have yet to be filed against a high school student. this happened on monday morning. some kind of a fight broke out just before the stabbing. a toddler is recovering this morning after nearly drowning in a bathtub in her home in edgewood. this happened around 6:00 p.m.

on monday evening. the trail was nearly three years old was under the supervision of her male guardian at the time. the incident appears to have been an accident. >> americans are getting a glimpse of what is on the other side of the fiscal cliff. in the report predicts what would happen if lawmakers don't do something about a number of tax cuts that are set to expire in just a few months. hallie jackson has more. >> this is a look at what the report means for you and me. this report says taxes for nearly all of us would go up on average $3,500. time is running out for congress to do something about the so- called fiscal cliff. what does it mean to regular folks?

the average middle income family could pay $2,000 more in taxes next year. a family could see its tax bill spike $6,000. part of the reason our tax cuts that were expanded in 2010. those cuts are slated to run out by the end of the year if congress does not do something. lawmakers are pushing off any tough decisions until after the election. >> we cannot afford four mario's of barack obama. >>-- we cannot afford four more years of barack obama. >> the good news is we probably

would not go over the fiscal cliff. congress will hammer out some kind of a deal between november 6 and the end of the year. >> how close are we to that kind of plan? >> a group of senators have come together to try to hammer out some kind of a deal. if that were to happen, congress would put off those tax hikes and spending cuts that are supposed to go into effect next year and institute for dollars chilean in savings by making cuts to some federal programs -- $4 trillion in savings by making cuts to some federal programs. >> thank you, hallie jackson. >> the american league east crown is still up for grabs.

extinguish a grease fire. we have the fire fighter combat challenge in which firefighters carry something, a sack of hoses on the shoulders up five flights of stairs. they take a hose line. as well as a forceful entry demonstration. >> that is incredible. >> some of our firefighters will confront an automobile fire appeared some people think it is a house fire. it suppresses the heat and fire as they are doing right now to extinguish the fire. >> that is such a sight to see. all these demonstrations supporting fire safety.

firefighter faces numerous charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two 14-year-old boys. >> kim dacey joins us live with more details. good morning. >> good morning. 23-year-old anthony cottle is facing five criminal sex charges, including the sexual abuse of a minor. he is in a baltimore county detention center, held on $150,000 bail. 23-year-old anthony cottle is behind bars, accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year- old boy. >> last week one of the victims came to police and reported that he had been sexually abused by this man sometime between may and june of this year. >> police say cottle had been staying with the boy's family, and the alleged incident happened in the family home. police wouldn't give an exact location to protect the victim's identify, but say it happened in the wilkens precinct. >> the boy also told us that he

had witnessed one of his friends, who is also a 14-year- old boy, being sexually abused by this suspect. >> cottle has been a probationary firefighter with the county department since december of last year. since he has been charged, he has been suspended without pay. cottle is also a volunteer firefighter with the lansdowne volunteer fire department. we reached out to the volunteer department for comment multiple times but our calls were not returned. two people at cottle's apartment complex defended him but did not want to speak on camera. police continue to investigate the allegations against cottle. >> based on what we're hearing from the victim and other people that are being interviewed by our detective, we believe that there may be more victims. >> police are asking any other potential victims or anyone with information to come forward this morning. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> a parkville bar that has been
